Growing up in a tight-knit family with strong marital bonds. Heather felt a certain pressure to follow a similar path. However, Heather's journey took unexpected turns and two of her marriages ended up in divorce.
In 2018, something—or rather, someone—caught Heather’s eye at a conference, sparking a curiosity she hadn’t felt in a while. But with a history of choosing emotionally unavailable partners, she was understandably cautious. Around this time, she heard about Smart Dating Academy through a podcast, and that discovery changed everything. Heather dived into SDA’s world, loving every bit of what she learned. She attended two Love Labs and eventually decided to invest in herself by signing up for date coaching with Bela & Ilene for one year. These sessions were nothing short of transformative and Heather showed incredible dedication to her personal growth.
Through this journey, Heather learned to truly love herself. She found the “Elevator People Exercise” game-changing, helping her realize what she really wanted in a partner (and in all of her relationships). Heather embraced her past, including her two divorces, and used those experiences to shape a more hopeful future. She went on dates, got into some relationships, but always stayed true to herself, even taking breaks when needed to reset and recharge. And despite everything, Heather remains psychotically optimistic that the right partner is out there for her. Heather’s still searching for the lid to her pot, but now, she’s doing it with the confidence and wisdom gained through her journey with SDA. She’s broken her old dating habits and is equipped with the perseverance needed to find true love and happiness in the future.
